Read PDX, WHAT IS IT?

Read PDX offers a variety of tutoring options. The usual recommendation is a minimum of two hours a week to ensure consistent practice for maximum results. Our current contract offers the following rates for virtual or local (within 15 minutes of the Tanasbourne area of Hillsboro) in-person sessions:

Paid in advance: $50/hr

Paid in arears: $60/hr

Travel outside of the local area can be arranged with a fee calculated based on travel time.

Lower rates can be offered for those who would like homeschool teaching, with a minimum of 15/hours a week. Please inquire so that we can work together to find a plan that works best for all of us.

Services

Our current contract offers the following additional services: homeschool teaching and a one-time assessment to provide input on current literacy abilities, suggested goals, and avenues towards achieving those goals. 

Homeschool Teaching

  • $30/ Hour, Paid in Advance
  • $40 / Hour, Paid in Arrears
  • Minimum 15 Hours / Week

Specialized Tutoring

  • $50 / Hour, Paid in Advance
  • $60 / Hour, Paid in Arrears
  • Minimum 2 Hours / Week

One-Time Consultation

  • $200
  • 1 Hour Session
  • Literacy Assessment
